UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP TO STUDY IN NAMIBIA AND SOUTH AFRICA

The Ministry of Labour and Social Security announces that scholarship applications are now open for students who want to study in South Africa & Namibia tertiary institutions and for students who have been admitted at UNESWA Mbabane Campus. To apply, students are to log on the website https://www.slas.gov.sz.

Students applying are those who hold final offer acceptance letters from the various universities, or institutions that are sponsored by the Government of Eswatini under the Ministry of Labour and Social Security. Students are therefore encouraged to familiarize themselves with the Government Priority List of programs of study available on the Ministry's face book page, website and Scholarship office.

ELIGIBILITY

Furthermore, applicants should note that cut off points for study outside the country is 33 points computed at best 5 passed subjects and calculated as follows: A* - 8 points, A - 7 points, B - 6 points, C-5 points, D - 4 points, E - 3 points. Students should read carefully and follow instructions as per the online application process, before attempting to apply.

The closing date for applications is on the 5th December 2025. Students who need assistance are encouraged to call 24042515 or visit the reception at the scholarship office, ground floor, old income tax building (etolishini). No fees are be charged for assistance.

Requirements

All Scholarship Application Forms should be accompanied by the following attachments:

• Certified copies of the applicant’s birth and academic certificates and/or symbols;

• Certified copies of the applicant’s I.D. Card or Personal Identification Number (PIN) A current passport sized photo

• An original University/College acceptance letter.

• A Graded Tax Certificate.
