UWC (United World Colleges) is a global movement that makes education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future. UWC has a network of 18 international schools on four continents, with volunteer-run national committees in more than 155 countries and territories. Today, 11,262 students from over 160 countries attend UWC schools (2020 data).

UWC offers a challenging educational experience to a deliberately diverse group of students. It complements the high academic standards delivered through the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) by placing a high value on experiential learning, community service and outdoor activities.

Please make sure you find out as much as possible about UWC before going ahead with your application. It is important that you understand the aims of the organisation and the commitment involved in the programmes that are offered.

For more information please go to https://apply.uwc.org/prog/uwc_eswatini_2026/

Financial Needs Assessment (FNA)

Financial Needs Assessments (FNAs) are acts of movement-wide solidarity because they enable a larger number of deserving students to access limited financial aid from schools and colleges.

While selection itself is based on merit, all funding is allocated based on financial need.

Each candidate family who makes it to the final round will have to complete a financial needs assessment (FNA) form and submit the accompanying documents to prove the family’s financial situation, specifically: income tax statement, bank statement, pay slip and similar. The FNA is used to award the scholarship according to the level of need of the family.

NO CANDIDATE WILL RECEIVE AN OFFER OF ADMISSION AND THE CORRESPONDING SCHOLARSHIP WITHOUT COMPLETING THE FNA.
