2000 SCHOLARSHIPS BY UDACITY FOR ONLINE NANODEGREE SCHOLARSHIPS IN TECHNOLOGY FOR PEOPLE WITHOUT A U

DEADLINE: 20 December 2021

The tech industry offers some of the fastest growing and in-demand employment opportunities today. But these opportunities have been unequal and exclusionary — especially for people without four-year degrees.

OneTen, the Blacks In Technology Foundation, and Udacity are teaming up to change this. The Nanodegree Scholarship Program aims to give members of the black without four-year degrees family-sustaining and generational-wealth-building opportunities, while disrupting the status quo.

OneTen’s mission is to hire, promote and advance one million Black individuals who do not have a four-year degree into family-sustaining careers over the next 10 years. OneTen takes a skills-first approach, focusing on competencies, in an aim to close the opportunity gap and ignite potential for generations to come.

Blacks In Technology is a global platform for Black people in technology, and The Blacks In Technology Foundation is the largest community of Black people in the technology industry. Through community-focused activities, events and outreach, BIT is "Stomping the Divide" by establishing standards for world class technical excellence. BIT serves members through community, media and mentorship, providing resources and guidance and challenging members to establish new standards of innovation.

Apply to the Scholarship Program today to be a part of the change. Gain applicable skills to start a new career in tech and help break open an industry for the championship and advancement of Black talent.

2,000 students will be chosen for a full scholarship and have access to the Scholarship Nanodegree Program from March 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022. Students will receive an official certificate after completing the Scholarship Nanodegree Program. After graduation, scholarship recipients will continue to be a part of OneTen’s community and have access to more skills-building opportunities.
