ANNUAL PROGRAMS

1. UNIVERSITY PREP CLUBS

High school students in Eswatini have significant information gaps when it comes to their post high school careers. The TKI Pre-University Program (TPUP) is a new program designed to help high school students across the country gain knowledge of universities, scholarships and the application process. This program will be schools-centric, with each school forming a club that will be supported by The Knowledge Institute. If you would like to set up a TPUP Club in your school, please get in touch via email on tki.eswatini@gmail.com with the subject header TPUP Clubs.

TKI is pleased to share the Postgraduate Preparatory Program for students enrolled in bachelors degree programs, who are interested in furthering their studies to obtain postgraduate degrees, specifically honors and masters degree. If you are keen to set up this club on your campus, email us on tki.eswatini@gmail.com with the subject header TKI PPP.

2. HIGH ACHIEVERS PROGRAM

Through a rigorous selection process, The Knowledge Institute identifies and selects 30 high school students performing (10th percentile or B+ academic performance) in the Form 3 JC external examination to join the HIGH ACHIEVERS PROGRAM (HAP).  These scholars go through a six-month long program aimed at their comprehensive development as leaders, founded on academic research, policy analysis, review of working models, and personal experience. To date there have been four cohorts of HAP (formerly Swaziland Young Leaders Fellowship Program). Our students have gone on to study medicine, economics, linguistics, forestry, engineering and many other disciplines in various universities all over the world. Others gone on to start their own businesses. Applications open in January annually, after Form 3 results are published.

3. YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The Knowledge Institute participates in a number of youth events throughout the year. This experience has led to the development of our newest program, the Youth Development Program. YDP consists of workshops and events for the development of young people. These will be based on topical issues with a focus on personal discovery, problem solving, motivation and leadership development. The YDP activities are delivered through local partnerships. To partner with TKI, please send us an email to tki.eswatini@gmail.com with the subject header TKI Partnership Request.
